This forthcoming page is well structured with logo, catchy headline, beautiful countdown widget, a subscribe bar and social icons. This effective background and the countdown clock widget is responsive for all devices. Grab and make it yours. Designed with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. It is 100% responsive and compatible with Google Chrome, Firefox, IE 10, Opera etc...
Version 2.0 fixes the countdown — v1's target date was hardcoded to December 2017 and had already passed, so it showed 0 everywhere it was installed; it now defaults to 14 days out until you set a real launch date. It adds a working notify-me email signup with a matching confirmation email (email-notify.html), and the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram icons now link to the providers instead of "#". JavaScript, the parallax.js and JavaScript.countdown plugins and FontAwesome (600KB+ combined) are replaced by one small, dependency-free script and inline SVG icons — the mouse-parallax background effect is kept, not dropped.
- A working notify-me email signup, with validation and a success panel that greets the visitor by address.
- email-notify.html — a ready-to-send confirmation email in the same design.
- The Facebook, Twitter and Instagram icons now link to the providers (were all "#") — point them at your own profiles.
- The countdown accepts a real launch date: add data-deadline="2026-12-31T18:00:00" to #countdown in index.html.
- The countdown's target date was hardcoded to December 2017 — already years in the past

- On a narrow phone the countdown wraps to two rows and nearly touched the tagline beneath it (v1 has the same tight spacing); given real breathing room now that
- v1 linked a css/normalize.css that was not even in the package (a dead 404) — dropped, not replaced; nothing depended on it.

What’s new
- A working notify-me email signup, with validation and a success panel that greets the visitor by address.
- The countdown's target date was hardcoded to December 2017 — already years in the past, so every copy of this template shows 0 everywhere it is installed. It now defaults to 14 days from the visitor's first visit (remembered, so a reload doesn't restart it) until a real date is set.
- A transparent footer layer sat on top of the entire page and silently swallowed clicks meant for anything above it — harmless in v1 (nothing in the hero was clickable), but would have made the new notify form unusable. Fixed.
- On a narrow phone the countdown wraps to two rows and nearly touched the tagline beneath it (v1 has the same tight spacing); given real breathing room now that a form sits directly below it too.
- v1 linked a css/normalize.css that was not even in the package (a dead 404) — dropped, not replaced; nothing depended on it.
- v1's JS referenced a .sphere element that does not exist anywhere in the markup — dead leftover code, not ported.
- jQuery + Matthew Wagerfield's parallax.js + the jquery.countdown plugin + FontAwesome 4 (600KB+ combined) -> one small, dependency-free js/main.js and inline SVG icons. Roboto ships inside the page (woff2, the weights used); nothing is fetched from Google.
