Fast static websites built with Astro: clean components, content in plain files, and pages that load in a blink on any static host.
Astro builds plain, fast HTML pages from components, which makes it a good fit for sites that change now and then rather than every day. Our Astro templates take seven of our designs and turn them into tidy Astro projects: each section is its own component, and the content (text, menu items, classes, team members) lives in simple JSON files, so you change the content without digging through the layout.
The result is a static site you can host almost anywhere, including free static hosts such as Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages. They cost $19 each, and Pro members get all of them.
Astro suits you if you, or your developer, are comfortable editing files and running a build, and you want the fastest pages with the cheapest hosting. There is no admin panel: content changes are made in the JSON files and the site is rebuilt. Forms need a form service, as with any static site. If the person updating the site won’t touch files, choose the Next.js version with its admin panel, or the WordPress theme of the same design. To see the two side by side, our Astro vs Next.js comparison builds the same site both ways and covers editing, forms, hosting costs and SEO.
Anywhere that serves static files: Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or any ordinary web host. Run the build and upload the output folder, or connect the project to one of those hosts.
Edit the JSON files that hold the text, menu items, classes or team, then rebuild. The layout lives in separate components, so content edits don't touch the design.
No. Astro templates are static sites edited through files. If you need an admin panel, the Next.js and WordPress versions of the same designs have one.
$19, paid once, or nothing extra if you already have Pro.
