If you want a simple yet impressive coming soon page for your website, get this page and give your website a professional look. The page helps to tell your visitors when you are making your webpage live. It is designed using HTML5, CSS3 with responsive design. As it has a responsive nature it looks great on the devices.
Version 2.0 keeps the white card over the photo and adds a real countdown to your launch date, a notify-me email form and a working contact page (contact.html), plus a maintenance page (maintenance.html), a privacy page (privacy.html) and two ready-to-send HTML emails: you're on the list (email-notify.html) and the contact auto-reply (email-contact.html). It now works on phones (the card fits, the social icons sit in a row under it), Google+ is replaced by LinkedIn, and the title font is Leckerli One, a free script font included in the download.
- A real countdown in the card: set your launch date once (data-launch on #clockdiv) and it counts days, hours
- A notify-me form in v1's gold: email validation and a thank-you that names the address.
- maintenance.html: the same card as a "Back shortly" screen with its own countdown and notify form.
- contact.html: a contact form (name, email, message) with validation and a thank-you; v1's "Contact Us" button now goes there.
- privacy.html: what the two forms collect, why, and how to remove it.
- Two ready-to-send HTML emails: email-notify.html ("you're on the list") and email-contact.html (the contact form's auto-reply). Table-based and inline-styled fo

What’s new
- A real countdown in the card: set your launch date once (data-launch on #clockdiv) and it counts days, hours, minutes and seconds. Left empty it counts 45 days from a visitor's first visit and does not restart on reload. At zero it shows "We're live!".
Table-based and inline-styled for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail; no images to upload.
- Connect the forms to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and they are POSTed there. Without it they run as a demo (each shows a "Demo only" line; delete those lines when you go live). Details at the top of js/main.js.
- The font: v1 used Forte MT, a commercial typeface, and its font files came in the download without a licence to pass them on. They are removed; Leckerli One, a free brush script under the SIL Open Font License, now ships inside the widget (fonts/leckerlione/, with its licence).
- Google+ closed in 2019; its icon is replaced by LinkedIn in the same round style.
- Real copy in place of the placeholder text.
- Below 992px the card shrank to half the screen (195px on a phone) and the social icons sat on top of it; the card now fits its content and the icons form a row under it. Desktop keeps v1's half-width card and the icon column on the right.
- The credit line was placed 10% from the bottom of the window, off the page on phones; it now ends the page.
- The social icons and "Contact Us" linked to "#"; the icons were images with inline scripts for the hover swap, all labelled "left". They are labelled links now, with the swap done in CSS.
- On iPhones the fixed background photo rendered blown up and blurry; on touch screens it now scrolls with the page.
