The cityview counter widget designed with html5 & css3 is uniquely crafted for the firms like professionals, business, sports site, online games etc. The template comes with attractive background, catchy hover effects, beautiful counter with timing in days, hours, minutes and seconds. You can use this template in your site to let your user know about working on the site.
Version 2.0 adds a working notify-me signup with its own confirmation email. The countdown used to recompute "15 days from now" on every page load, so a returning visitor's clock never actually advanced — it now remembers a real deadline per visitor. The title, countdown and signup are centred on the page and the title sits on its own line above the countdown.
- A working notify-me email signup: validation and a success panel that greets the visitor by address.
- A ready-to-send HTML email: email-notify.html.
- Connect the form to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and it is POSTed there. Without it the form runs as a demo (shows a "Demo only"
- v1 recomputed "15 days from now" on every single page load
- A leftover CSS transform caused real sideways scroll on v1's own demo at phone widths (401-500px) — fixed.
- The whole page silently lost its centred text alignment to the newer framework's own defaults — restated explicitly.
- The title, countdown and signup form are now centred on the page, instead of sitting left-of-centre as in v1.
- The title now sits on its own line above the countdown, instead of beside it — Logo, then "Will Soon Open", then the countdown, each on its own row.

What’s new
- A working notify-me email signup: validation and a success panel that greets the visitor by address.
- A ready-to-send HTML email: email-notify.html.
- Connect the form to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and it is POSTed there. Without it the form runs as a demo (shows a "Demo only" line — delete it when you go live). Details at the top of js/main.js.
- v1 recomputed "15 days from now" on every single page load, so a returning visitor's countdown never actually advanced — it just reset to 15 days again. Now remembers a real deadline per visitor; set a fixed data-deadline on #clockdiv for your real launch date.
- No jQuery in v1 (the countdown was already vanilla JS) — Oswald (v1's own declared font) ships self-hosted (woff2, only the weights used); nothing is fetched from Google.
