Version 2.0 keeps the animated digger and the crane illustration and makes the Subscribe form work: it checks the address and shows a thank-you that names it, without reloading the page. Tablets get their own centred layout with larger type and a touch-sized form, and the package adds a contact page (contact.html) and a privacy page (privacy.html), plus two ready-to-send HTML emails: you're subscribed (email-subscribe.html) and the contact auto-reply (email-contact.html). The fonts are self-hosted.
- Subscribe is a real form: email validation
- contact.html: a contact form (name, email, message) with validation and a thank-you, in the same two-column look.
- privacy.html: what the two forms collect, why, and how to remove it.
- Two ready-to-send HTML emails: email-subscribe.html ("you're subscribed") and email-contact.html (the contact form's auto-reply). Table-based and inline-styled
- Connect the forms to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and they are POSTed there. Without it they run as a demo (each shows a "Demo o
- Tablets (768-1150px): the two columns are centred on the screen, with larger headings and text, a full-width email field and button at a touch-friendly height
- Where the title wrapped (around 768px) its two lines printed on top of each other; headings now have a proper line height.
- The footer stopped wherever the content did, leaving an empty band under it; it now sits at the bottom of the screen.

What’s new
- Subscribe is a real form: email validation, and a thank-you that names the address in place of the form. v1's form reloaded the page with the address in the URL.
Table-based and inline-styled for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail; no images to upload.
- Connect the forms to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and they are POSTed there. Without it they run as a demo (each shows a "Demo only" line; delete those lines when you go live). Details at the top of js/main.js.
- Tablets (768-1150px): the two columns are centred on the screen, with larger headings and text, a full-width email field and button at a touch-friendly height, and the animated digger shown again on landscape tablets (v1 hid it below 1150px).
- Where the title wrapped (around 768px) its two lines printed on top of each other; headings now have a proper line height.
- The footer stopped wherever the content did, leaving an empty band under it; it now sits at the bottom of the screen.
- At 1151-1180px the digger ran into the footer; the column now keeps room for it.
- The logo linked to "#"; it links home. The illustration has alt text, and the digger is hidden from screen readers.
- The form field had no label. Each page has its own title and meta description, and the copyright year updates itself.
- No framework, no Google Fonts request: one stylesheet (css/style.css) and one dependency-free script (js/main.js). Roboto ships inside the widget (woff2, the two weights the page uses).
