Exhibit a classy 404 page when a user asks for a page that is not available on your website. This classy tabular combination page 404 not found will be available for mobile and other devices too. Entirely designed using HTML5 & CSS3 with responsive design. Fits on all screen size. Get it now for free!

Version 2.0 gives the six-tile OOPS! 4 0 4 layout a glass/frosted redesign — each tile keeps its own colour as a translucent, blurred tint over the full-bleed photo, with bigger, bolder type and one coral accent — and adds contact.html (a working contact form), 500.html, maintenance.html (a live countdown and notify-me form) and offline.html, plus three ready-to-send HTML emails in the same design: the contact auto-reply (email-contact.html), the notify-me confirmation (email-notify.html) and a maintenance heads-up (email-maintenance-notice.html). Every form can be pointed at your own server with one attribute, and the fonts are self-hosted.

What’s new

  1. v2.0Sep 2026
    • contact.html — a working contact form, ending in a "message sent" confirmation.
    • 500.html — a matching server-error page with a Try Again / Back Home pair of buttons.
    • maintenance.html — a "back soon" page with a live countdown (persists across reloads) and a notify-me signup.
    • offline.html — a matching no-connection page that detects when the connection returns.
    • Three ready-to-send HTML emails: email-contact.html, email-notify.html and email-maintenance-notice.html.
    • Connect any form to your server: add data-endpoint="https://your-site.com/api/…" and it is POSTed there. Without it every form runs as a demo (each shows a "Demo only" line — delete those lines when you go live). Details at the top of js/main.js.
    • v1 had 5 <h1> tags on one page (OOPS!, 4, 0, 4, "Page Not Found"); only the real heading is an <h1> now, the tile numbers are plain text.
    • v1's tile text centred itself with position:absolute against whichever ancestor happened to establish a containing block — on a modern grid that was no longer each tile's own column, so the three small tiles' numbers all rendered stacked on top of each other in one spot instead of inside their own tile. Each tile now positions its own text.
    • The dead "Go Home" link now points at "/" instead of nowhere.
    • Dropped a reference to a font (fonts/antonio) that 404s in v1 itself — it ships in neither the template zip nor the live demo.
    • Glass/frosted tiles: each tile keeps its own v1 colour, now as a translucent, blurred tint over the full-bleed photo instead of a flat fill, with one accent colour (coral) reserved for the Go Home label.
    • Bigger, bolder typography and more breathing room between tiles.
    • The whole composition centres vertically on the page.
    • No jQuery in v1. Roboto (v1's own declared font) ships self-hosted (woff2, only the weight used); nothing is fetched from Google.
