Every ThemeVault Template Is Now Free

Something big changed at ThemeVault this month: every HTML template on the site is now free to download and use — all 190 of them, including the ones that used to carry a price tag. No trial, no catch. Here is what changed, why we did it, and what it means whether you have used ThemeVault before or you are arriving for the first time.

Every HTML template is free

For years ThemeVault split its catalogue into "free" and "premium" templates. We have retired that split. Today, every template — restaurant sites, portfolios, login forms, ecommerce storefronts, gym and hotel layouts, the lot — downloads for free as a complete, responsive HTML5 package you can host anywhere, including free static hosts like GitHub Pages, Netlify and Vercel.

The only condition is a small "template by ThemeVault" credit link in the footer. Keep it and the template is yours to use on personal, company or client sites at no cost. If you would rather not show the credit, you can remove it on any single template for a one-time fee from that template's page.

Why we made everything free

The honest answer: the templates were always being downloaded far more than they were being bought, and locking a handful behind a price tag mostly created friction for the people we most want to help — students, freelancers and small businesses building their first site. Opening the whole catalogue is simply a better fit for what ThemeVault is for. The 24 templates we rebuilt this year on Bootstrap 5 (faster, no jQuery, mobile-clean) are all part of the free catalogue too.

What "Pro" gives you now

We have replaced the old membership tiers with a single, simpler plan called Pro. Pro is for people who use a lot of templates and never want to think about the footer credit:

• The credit link removed on every template, forever — not one at a time.
• Every premium version included. Selected designs now ship as dynamic, ready-to-run versions — WordPress themes and Next.js apps today, with more technologies on the way; Pro covers all of them.
• Use on unlimited sites, yours or your clients'.

Dynamic versions — WordPress, Next.js and more

Alongside the free HTML, we are building dynamic, ready-to-run versions of our most popular designs. Today that means WordPress themes (manage everything from wp-admin) and Next.js apps (a complete app with a built-in admin panel and no external services) — and we are extending the line-up to more technologies over time. These are sold separately per design, and every one of them is included with Pro. It is a small line-up today and growing.

If you ever paid for a template on ThemeVault, thank you — you helped keep this going. Check your email: we are reaching out to every past customer directly, because we think it is only fair that the people who paid get the new Pro plan on us.
