Bistrofeast – Restaurant & Cafe WordPress Theme

The Bistrofeast restaurant & cafe design, rebuilt as a dynamic WordPress theme. Everything is managed from the WordPress admin — no page builder, no plugins required, no jQuery.

• Menu board — one record per dish (photo, description, price, badge). Tick a box to put it in the home-page tabs or on "tonight's board" under the hero; the Course taxonomy is the tab row, so adding "Sunday roast" or "Cocktails" adds a tab with no code.
• Bookings — the reservation form saves every table request to wp-admin with the day, time, covers, contact details and the guest's notes, sortable by booking date and with a New / Confirmed / Seated / Cancelled status. It still emails you and sends the guest a designed HTML confirmation with a booking reference.
• Chefs with role, bio, email and social links — four on the home page, everyone on the Chefs page, and the matching chef's photo and bio reused in the blog author box.
• Gallery and Reviews as post types: eight photos on the home page and the full set on the Gallery page (both with the lightbox), a featured quote with photo on the home and About pages plus the small cards beside it.
• Live Customizer for every fixed line — the hero and its facts, each home block, the About page's counters, habits and suppliers, page headers, opening hours, the map, the footer, 404 and thank-you.
• Two built-in forms (reservation and contact) that work the moment you activate the theme — or paste a Contact Form 7 / WPForms shortcode to use a plugin instead.
• Blog on native posts (category badge, reading time, author box, tag sidebar), page templates for About, Book a table, Contact and Thank-you, styled 404, search and comments.
• Bootstrap 5 with design tokens, self-hosted fonts, inline Tabler icons, translation-ready, PHP 8.3, WordPress 6.4+.
