The Bistrofeast restaurant & cafe design, built for Elementor. Every section of the design is its own widget and draws the original markup, so you compose pages by dragging without the design drifting. Elementor free is all you need; Elementor Pro is never required.
- Home, About, Book a table, Contact and Thank you arrive as Elementor pages from a one-click demo import, with the menu, gallery, chefs, reviews, blog posts and photos. Reorder the sections, delete one, copy it to another page, or drop Elementor's own widgets in between.
- Each widget has three parts. Content: its text, photos, buttons and links. Layout: switches for the parts you may not want (the small heading, the intro, a button, the photos) and, where a section has them, designed alternatives such as photo left or right, copy only, one or two columns, cards or rows. Style: background, text and accent colours, top and bottom padding and the gap between parts, for that section only.
- Layouts, not broken rows. Anything structural is a choice between designed states, so the page never ends up with half a row and an empty half beside it.
- Your content stays in wp-admin through the Bistrofeast Core plugin, installed from the theme in one click: the menu board with its Course tabs, chefs, gallery, guest reviews, and Bookings. The reservation form saves every table request with day, time, covers, contact details and a status, emails you and confirms to the guest. Change theme one day and it all stays.
- Switch off Elementor or the plugin and the pages still show the full design, drawn by the theme instead of going blank.
- Blog, categories, search and 404 drawn by the theme; Bootstrap 5 with design tokens, self-hosted fonts, inline icons, no jQuery, translation-ready (.pot for theme and plugin), WordPress coding standards, PHP 8.3.
Includes README, an online documentation page with real editor screenshots, and the free-licence stock photos with credits. Already on 1.0? Your pages keep their look after the update.
- Every section of Home, About, Book a table, Contact and Thank you is an Elementor widget you edit, move, restyle or reuse
- Layout panel on each widget: hide parts, pick a designed layout or a column count, never a half-empty row
- One-click demo import: dishes, chefs, gallery, reviews, posts, pages and menu with their photos
- Reservation form that saves every booking in wp-admin with a status, emails you and confirms to the guest
- Companion plugin keeps your menu, chefs, gallery, reviews and bookings if you ever change theme

What’s new
- Version 1.1: every section is now its own Elementor widget (23), each with a Layout panel (show/hide parts, designed layouts, column counts) and a Style tab; the Bistrofeast Core plugin (installed from the theme in one click) holds the menu items, chefs, gallery, reviews, bookings and forms, so they stay if you change theme; one-click demo import; pages keep the full design with Elementor or the plugin switched off; translation templates for theme and plugin; WordPress coding standards. Fixed: rounded photos stayed square inside Elementor, and the blog pagination sat out of line. Pages built with 1.0 keep their look and stay editable.
- Initial release: 19 custom Elementor widgets over the theme's own section renderers (pixel-identical to the standard theme), one-click demo import writing eight Elementor pages, layout options and a per-section Style tab on every widget, plugin-off fallback, and the same wp-admin content layer as the standard Bistrofeast theme — menu board with Course tabs, chefs, gallery, reviews and stored bookings. Elementor free only; Bootstrap 5, no jQuery, PHP 8.3.
