The Capricus corporate design as an Astro 7.3.3 static-site project, written for a business consulting firm. Pages, people, services and client quotes live in JSON files and blog posts in Markdown; npm run build gives you plain HTML, CSS and JS to host anywhere, with no server and no database.
- Blog in Markdown: one file per post with its photo, category, tags and author. The home page and blog list the newest posts by themselves, every category gets its own page, an RSS feed is built, and the search page filters posts in the browser.
- Team and services as collections: add a person to
team.jsonand they appear on the home page, the team page and a profile page of their own; the same for each service, with its own page listing what it covers. - SEO built in: titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, Open Graph and Twitter cards, structured data, sitemap and robots.txt.
- Optimised images: photos are resized and served as WebP by
astro:assets, at the right size for every screen. - Forms (contact, comments, newsletter) check every field in the browser and post to the endpoint you set in
.env— Formspree, Basin, Netlify Forms or your own. - Bootstrap 5, vanilla JavaScript, Font Awesome 6, self-hosted fonts; strict TypeScript with
npm run check, Prettier. Deploys to Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or any static host.
Includes a README, a CONTENT guide to every section and field, and an online documentation page with screenshots. Photos in the download are blurred placeholders for your own.
- Blog posts in Markdown, with category pages, an RSS feed and in-browser search
- Team and services as JSON collections, with a page for every person and every service
- Client testimonials as one shared list, shown on every page that has the slider
- SEO tags, sitemap and optimised WebP images built in
- Builds to plain HTML for Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages or any static host
