The Falix Ford web developer portfolio — diamond intro, typing headline, sliding About / Portfolio / Blog / Contact panels — rebuilt as a Next.js application with Payload CMS embedded at /admin. Your projects, skills, experience timeline, testimonials, blog posts and every fixed text are edited in a clean admin panel; the site renders them on every request, no rebuild.
Projects with a filterable grid — categories become the filter buttons; each project has a cover, facts box, lead, body and a lightbox gallery. Opens inside the stage overlay (Back button aware) and as a shareable /projects/<slug> page.
Expertise cards, experience timeline, testimonial slider — three collections you add to and reorder.
Blog with hero image, gallery strip, tags, categories and per-post SEO; articles open in the overlay or at /blog/<slug>.
Site Settings on one tabbed screen — greeting, headline, typing phrases with their accent word, social links, panel titles, About text and info rows, resume PDF, contact details, SEO defaults.
Built-in contact form — every message saved in the admin and emailed when SMTP is set.
Zero-config — SQLite file database, npm run seed loads the demo with an admin user; Postgres swap documented for serverless hosts.
Pixel-identical to the free HTML template: the same stylesheet and dependency-free interactions, Bootstrap 5, Font Awesome 6, self-hosted fonts. TypeScript, React server components, versions pinned. Next.js 16, Payload 3, Node 20.9+.
Includes README, CONTENT guide, a full online documentation page with admin screenshots, and the seed content.
