What’s new
- wishlist.html — the page the header's heart icon and the footer's "My Wishlist" link pointed at in version 1 (it was never in the package). Same table as the cart, with add-to-cart and remove actions per item.
- email-order.html — an order-confirmation email: order number, date and delivery estimate, the items with thumbnails and totals, delivery address and payment, a Track-your-order button.
- email-welcome.html — a welcome email for a new account: a welcome code, three "why parents love us" points, three best sellers. Both emails are table-based, inline-styled, 600px wide, with an Outlook conditional and a phone layout — the way mail clients need it. Before sending, replace the images/... paths with absolute URLs on your server and put your links in place of the "#" ones (the file says so at the top).
- The product strips (New Collections, Best Seller, Related Products) and the brand strip could not be clicked: the slider's loading overlay never went away. They work now, with proper previous / next arrows.
- Links to blog-single.html and single-product.html — pages that did not exist — now go to single-blog.html and single-details.html.
- The footer's Instagram column was empty: it loaded from an Instagram API shut down in 2018, with an access token shipped in the package. It is a grid of eight product photos now, and the token is gone.
- 20 links with an empty href (they reloaded the page) and 370 "#" links now go somewhere: the New / Sale ribbons, the heart / basket / quick-view icons on every card, brand logos, blog categories and dates, the hero's Read More, Buy Now, Add To Cart, Add To Wishlist, Return To Homepage.
- Checkout's six Continue buttons step through the checkout; the mini-cart's remove button and the cart table's remove button work; quantities are real number fields with working + / − steppers.
- The Pages menu (About, 404) opens on tap on a phone — it was hover-only.
- The mega menu no longer closes while the pointer crosses from the link to the panel.
- On a phone the logo sits in its own strip under the pink bar instead of over the banner photograph, and the cart / wishlist tables scroll sideways so every column is reachable.
- Cart, checkout, wishlist, product details, login and register pages: the forms and tables sit in white rounded cards with a soft shadow, taller rounded inputs with a purple focus ring, pink table headers with white text, checkout steps in the palette's purple. Everywhere else the design is version 1's.
- Struck-out old prices are black; the product photo's pink frame wraps the photo; the footer's map-pin and phone icons render (they were empty boxes under Font Awesome 6).
- 404 page centred and spaced on tablets; product page stacks photo-first below 992px with the four thumbnails in one row; cart summary cards stack below 992px.
